Company Background

In January 1985, Cheryl Landes started writing and publishing freelance travel, history, and recreation articles on a part-time basis. She expanded her services in October 1995 and named the business Tabby Cat Communications. Her writing, editing, indexing, research, and desktop publishing services have been used in numerous industries, including:

• computer software
• education
• environmental protection and clean-up
• parks and recreation
• occupational safety and health
• manufacturing
• government
• transportation
• the trade press

Cheryl has published more than 100 magazine and newspaper articles throughout the United States and Canada, as well as three books:

• Beautiful America's Seattle (1999; updated edition to be released in December 2005)
• Beautiful America's Idaho (2001)
• Those Wild Northwest Days (2005)
